Scott R. Davis, Esq.

Mr. Davis joined Barker Washburn in 2007 and is admitted to practice before all Nevada State Courts, the Nevada Federal District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Davis practices in the areas of Insurance Defense, Construction Defect, Appeals, Administrative Law and Consumer Protection. Mr. Davis graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University Law School in 2006. While in law school Mr. Davis served as an Associate Editor for the Gonzaga Journal of International Law and represented a number of low-income clients in Gonzaga’s clinical law program.

Jake D. Kelsey, Esq.

After receiving his Juris Doctor degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University, Mr. Kelsey began practicing law in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Kelsey practices in the areas of insurance defense litigation, general civil litigation, and estate planning and business law, including business formation, business contracts, and general business litigation. Mr. Kelsey has obtained favorable settlements and awards for his clients in dozens of cases that he has personally handled through all phases of litigation. Mr. Kelsey joined Barker Washburn as a Partner in 2008.

Evan D. Schwab, Esq.

Mr. Schwab received his B.A. in History from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2004 and his Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School in 2007. At Drake, Mr. Schwab was a member of the Journal of Agricultural Law, the Mock Trial Team and served as a Student Attorney at the Drake Legal Clinic. Upon graduation from law school Mr. Schwab moved to Las Vegas and joined Barker Washburn as a law clerk. Upon passing the bar exam Mr. Schwab then became an associate attorney at Barker Washburn. Mr. Schwab is admitted to practice in all State courts in Nevada. Mr. Schwab’s practice areas include all types of civil litigation, contract matters, commercial transactions, liability defense, construction defect, personal injury, family law, wills, estates, and administrative law.
